Well, since the Black Sabbath North American 2013 tour just ended and our new writer, Hell’s Temple, reviewed one of the shows, stating that Ozzy was old and couldn’t hit the high notes anymore, we thought it would be a good idea to present you with a performance from the early days. This concert took place in 1970, in Paris, France, while Sabbath was promoting Paranoid. The show was filmed for Yorkshire Television and is quite amazing to see them in their prime. It’s also nice to see the evil doers goofing off before the set instead of holding some sort of unholy seance.
Black Sabbath 1970 set list:
1. “Paranoid”
2. “Hand of Doom”
3. “Rat Salad”
4. “Iron Man”
5. Guitar solo
6. “Black Sabbath”
7. “N.I.B.”
8. “Behind the Wall of Sleep”
9. “War Pigs”
10. Fairies Wear Boots”
Yell! Magazine’s Concert Series brings you kick-ass live shows to get your party started right and to help you vent your Friday frustrations.
