Countdown To UFC 165: Jones vs. Gustafsson [VIDEO]

There hasn’t been many UFC events since UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. Bader and that stretch has finally reached its limit. UFC 165 has been highly publicized since it was announced, and it’s bloody time we see the two tall gladiators square off. This Saturday night UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones (18-1) plans to make UFC history by breaking Tito Ortiz’s win streak record in the division, and to prove critics wrong again. Jones has been criticized in the past for being too big in light heavyweight, and taking out Swedish mixed martial artist Alexander Gustafsson (15-1) will be his answer to shut down that speculation.

Countdown to UFC 165 has arrived to give you closer at the two fighters headlining the PPV event, however, this part of the segment touches more on Gustafsson. It gives us a small taste of his life in Europe, as well as his training camp. Gustafsson trained with Phil Davis for his upcoming fight that takes place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Saturday, September 21, 2013.

The weigh-in for UFC 165: Jones vs. Gustafsson will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
