The Twisted Twins, Jen and Sylvia Soska, began shooting See No Evil 2 today in their native Vancouver, Canada. They have 15 days to get it all on film. Fortunately for them, their jobs are made easier because of the stellar cast they have to work with: Danielle Harris, Katharine Isabelle, Glenn Jacobs, Michael Eklund, Greyston Holt, Kaj-Erik Eriksen, and Chelan Simmons.
Fans of the first film, See No Evil, have been waiting since 2006 for the return of Jacob Goodnight, and there’s no doubt that the team behind the sequel has them stoked. For the sequel, fans are getting the Soska sisters, who are racing to the top of their industry and haven’t even come down from the high of their recent hit, American Mary. That film also starred one of the actresses appearing in See No Evil 2, Canadian horror heroine Katherine Isabelle. Before becoming American Mary, Katherine was best-known for her role in the Ginger Snaps franchise.
Then there’s the horror royalty of Danielle Harris. Harris is most recognizable today as the star in Adam Green’s pet franchise, Hatchet. But this girl has been a genre favorite since she was a child, when she appeared in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5. After years of constant work, she returned to the Halloween franchise to work under director Rob Zombie in Halloween and Halloween II.
Of course, but it’s not always a given, the WWE’s Glenn Jacobs is reprising his role as Jacob Goodnight.
See No Evil 2 is expected to hit sometime in 2014, and we’ll keep you posted on any forthcoming news.
