Remember Cody “Bam Bam” Bollinger on this season of The Ultimate Fighter? You know, the guy that couldn’t make weight on Wednesday’s episode this week and the one UFC President Dana White kicked off the show? That’s Bollinger, and he gave up on his once-in-a-lifetime lottery ticket to be the next Ultimate Fighter and win a big UFC contract.
The situation continued to roll downhill during the first 30 minutes of the episode after Bollinger realized he couldn’t make weight in time and then just gave up. You can tell he was having a hard time digesting the embarrassing moment on TV too. Bollinger knows he failed miserably on the show, and could have easily assumed his career was finished, at least in the UFC for now.
However, World Series of Fighting (WSOF) is looking past what happened on the show and wants to give this former TUF contestant a shot in the organization. Keep in mind, he was the Number 1 pick on TUF 18 and landed on team Miesha Tate. According to recent reports, Bollinger signed a six-figure contract with WSOF.
Check out his tweet below, if you don’t want to take my word for it.
