If you are squeamish about rats, then stay away from this viral teaser video for Guillermo del Toro’s The Strain. The show is a 13-episode drama series based on the best-selling vampire novel trilogy of the same title written by del Toro and Chuck Hogan. However, if you are a fan of vampires, then I suggest you take a look at it since the series is green-lit and production will begin later this month in Toronto, Canada. The very first episode is expected to premiere in July 2014, on FX.
The Strain stars Corey Stoll, Mia Maestro, Sean Astin, Kevin Durand, Natalie Brown, Jonathan Hyde, Richard Sammel, Robert Maillet, Jack Kesy, Ben Hyland, and Miguel Gomez.
