If you thought the first teaser trailer for The Raid 2: Berandal was mind-blowing, then you’re in for another epic ride with the new international trailer. It crash landed a few days ago, but it’s worth a few watches since it features an epic mud fight, 2-on-1 fist fights, baseball bats, a wild car chase, and so much more. Everything you ever wanted in a modern-day action film is jam packed in this sequel.
Apparently, the choreography was in place before Redemption, but director Gareth Evans decided to keep it for the sequel because the budget would be “significantly larger.” Expect a third one to come in the future since Evans has intentions to turn The Raid into a trilogy.
Berandal will have a wider release than the first installment, it’s slated for U.S. audiences on March 28, 2014.
