As of today, it sounds like Hollywood has officially selected most of the major faces who will be playing in the Terminator reboot, which is slated for release in 2015.
Please welcome Jai Courtney (pictured above), the newest member in the franchise. Courtney will be playing the posthumous father of John Connor, originally portrayed by Michael Biehn, and the love interest of Sarah Connor. You may know him from a few films such as Jack Reacher, Divergent, A Good Day to Die Hard. He also has an appearance in the upcoming I, Frankenstein film.
Earlier, it was reported that Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) will be portraying Sarah Connor alongside Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) as John Connor. And yes! Arnold Schwarzenegger is back as the Terminator, and we hope makeup FX has come along way since the original to hide them wrinkles away.
Terminator: Genesis is the official title of the first installment in the new set of films and it will be directed by Alan Taylor from a screenplay by Laeta Kalorgridis (Avatar) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry).
Production is expected to start on April 21st, in New Orleans.
