Bellator MMA: Rampage Jackson vs. King Mo Booked For First PPV Event

Rampage vs. King Mo

Bellator MMA has its first pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for May 17th, however, things could potentially fail again like the last PPV attempt with Tito Ortiz considering who they booked for the co-main event.

If you follow Bellator on a regular basis, then you obviously saw this in the making. Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rampage Jackson will officially square off with Bellator veteran King Mo in the co-main event for a title shot, if nothing prevents them from fighting in May. Although, both fighters have a great track record for showing up on fight night, I still wouldn’t be surprised if one pulls out because of an injury of some sort. But Rampage sounds pretty damn eager to jump right back inside the cage after he destroyed Christian M’Pumbu at Bellator 110.

Rampage said the monster is back:

I’ve been wanting to come back to Memphis for the last decade, and I’m finally getting that chance to fight in one of the biggest fights of my career for Bellator. After being part of the Bellator family for a while now, I feel like the old ‘Rampage,’ and that’s not a good thing for Mo. I’m back, I’m a monster, and I’m looking to put on another entertaining fight for all my fans on May 17th.

As for the main event, Michael Chandler faces Eddie Alvarez in a trilogy fight, and everything takes place at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi.
