“The Last Of Us” Hits 6 Million Sold

The Last of Us: Left Behind

Naughty Dog’s hit game, The Last of Us, recently hit a milestone in terms of sales. While six million copies sold isn’t breaking any records, it’s remarkable for a game that’s only available on one console. It’s a big accomplishment for Naughty Dog too, especially when you consider that the developer’s other hit title, Uncharted 3, just recently hit six million as well.

If you’re playing The Last of Us, you’re probably already on it, but the game’s Left Behind DLC is now available for $14.99. Left Behind is Naughty Dog’s first ever single-player downloadable story chapter, and it focuses on the relationship between Ellie and Riley, her best friend and mentor from military school. This chapter takes place before Ellie met Joel and the events of the main campaign. Check out the trailer in the player above.

In addition, the survival-horror game won five BAFTA Game Awards, including Best Game and Best Story in 2014. You can see the full list of winners and nominees at the BAFTA Website.
