Yesterday we brought you word that there were mumblings of a new Halloween installment, tentatively titled Halloween 3D. Since then, the official site HalloweenMovies.com has confirmed that the new film in the franchise is a go. However, there’s no word on whether or not it wil be in 3-D or not.
Here’s the statement according to the official site:
As we stated before, we are dedicated to the fans of the Halloween series just as much as we are dedicated to delivering a film that we believe the fans deserve and will, most importantly, love. With that being said, we can confirm that a new installment of Halloween is indeed on track and moving forward. We are currently developing a script, to finally bring Michael back to the theaters!
So, yes, fantastic news, but it would have been nice to know who’s working on that script.
Who’s your dream writer and/or director for Halloween 3? Should it be in 3-D?
As long as they don’t remake Halloween III: Season of the Witch, does anyone really give a damn what they do?
