Bellator 120: Rampage vs. King Mo – Full Fight Card

BELLATOR 120: RAMPAGE VS. KING MO

Will Brooks stepped in on short notice a few days ago to replace Eddie Alvarez in the first-ever Bellator pay-per-view (PPV) event against Micheal Chandler for the interim lightweight championship . The bout takes place on May 17th as the co-main event and the Bellator 120 fight card is finally set in stone. See it right below.

In my opinion, Brooks somewhat saved the day for Bellator 120 since the event could have been swapped to Spike TV again. Remember how things turned out for Rampage vs. Ortiz? Well, Ortiz never even made it inside the cage, but the event itself turned out to be FREE and that was a good thing. But for Bellator it was necessary for them to start setting the ground for PPV like the UFC does on a regular basis. Bellator 120 is the starting point for PPV that headlines the long-awaited grudge match between Quinton Jackson and Muhammed Lawal for the Season 10 Light Heavyweight tournament final and title shot.

Tito Ortiz also steps inside the cage for the first time since UFC 148 to face Bellator Middleweight Champion Alexander Shlemenko.

Is the fight card still worthy for PPV with the new change? I guess we’ll find out this Saturday night.
