Heavy Metal festivals are the best. With all the blood, sweat, moshing, chanting, and brotherly love or a brotherly beatdown (because Metal is a lifestyle), it beats the piss out of those other fucking festivals that act as hipster magnets. Metal for life! Fuck the rest!
It’s always a pleasure to announce the official lineup for one of the biggest and best Metal festivals to cross our land — Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival! This year marks Mayhem’s 7th year, and the 2014 lineup looks abso-fuckin-lutely brutal (with a couple obvious exceptions).
Once again, there will be four stages for Metal blood to be spilled upon: the Rockstar Energy Drink Main Stage, the Coldcock American Herbal Flavored Whiskey Stage, the Sumerian Records/Headbang for the Highway Stage, and the Victory Records Stage. Speaking of blood being spilled, I’ve heard that Avengened Sevenfold will be tortured and then decapitated on the main stage (wishful thinking I know).
The 2014 Mayhem linup includes: Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Asking Alexandria, Trivium, Cannibal Corpse, Body Count (featuring Ice-T), Suicide Silence, Mushroomhead, Miss May I, Emmure, Veil of Maya, Upon a Burning Body, Texas Hippie Coalition, Darkest Hour, Ill Nino, Wretched, Islander, King 810, Erimha.
