by With a title like The Reckoning it’s pretty clear that writer/director John V. Soto (Needle, Crush) is going for a revenge flick. However, there’s also the subtle meaning of the truth being revealed in that title.
In either case, the trailer, while it shows a little too much of the upcoming film, looks to turn the revenge story on its side… and the truth element being the twist (foreign movies always have a twist). It really looks like a cat-and-mouse movie meets cop drama/revenge.
