Machine Head Launches New Website & 4th Production Video For Upcoming Album

Machine Head, the Oakland metallers have been back in the studio since February working hard on their new album slated for a summer release through Nuclear Blast. The title of the record is yet to be known, but at least vocalist Robb Flynn recently revealed that it’s going to be “classic metal” with simplified riffs. However, fans can expect the album to sound in between of The Blackening and Through the Ashes of Empires.

This is exactly what he said about the band’s new material:

I want to reiterate, I don’t feel this record sounds like ‘The Blackening’. It feels like we’re still moving forward. If I HAD to compare it to another record of ours, it may be closer to ‘Through The Ashes Of Empires’ in one aspect only, the simpler song arrangements. It’s still what I would just call classic metal, but we’ve simplified beats, simplified riffs, taken the unnecessary complicated-ness of something and made it simple.

Production on the album is still in progress as seen in Machine Head’s fourth Vlog video, which was released just in time of band’s new website that fans may want to check out.

We’ve also included below all the previous production videos for those that may have missed it.

Enjoy and share metal!
