Dying Light’s Dev. Diary #1: Natural Movement [VIDEO]

The footage seen in the new Dying Light Developer’s Diary looks absolutely amazing! Watch the video above and listen/read what Techland’s developers have to say about the game’s custom “natural movement.” It’s not so natural in the human way, but this isn’t reality, is it?

The video also contains new day/night footage. As the developers say, you’ll feel invincible during the day, but at night, when the infected transform and become more aggressive and dangerous, you’ll feel as vulnerable as a lamb at a slaughter. Their goal is to have players explore and complete missions during the day, and simply survive at night.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Techland’s Dying Light is scheduled to drop on February 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

About Dying Light:

Dying Light is an action survival horror game presented in first-person perspective. The game is set in a vast and dangerous open world. During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, hunter becomes prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression – but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their hives to feed. You will need to make use of all your skills and any available means to survive till dawn.
