F.E.A.R. Online may be running under the radar because it’s the first free-to-play version in the franchise and it didn’t receive a lot of hype after an early beta phase, but fans should be happy to hear the game underwent an “extensive redesign” since.
Aeria Games, the developer behind the multiplayer horror shooter also made various gameplay adjustments that should make F.E.A.R. Online a lot more enjoyable to play. In addition to those changes, new maps have been added, a new scenario, and a redesigned crafting system which allows for making one-of-a-kind weapons. Aeria Games is now confident that F.E.A.R. Online will deliver what fans have been asking for.
The next open beta for F.E.A.R. Online will be available on October 8, a week before the official launch on October 17. The minimum and recommended PC requirements have also been revealed today. Players can sign up now on the F.E.A.R. website.
