Early in 2015, fans of Shinji Mikami’s The Evil Within will be able to enjoy new levels in the very first of three expansion packs for the survival horror video game. The DLC is entitled “The Assignment,” which is a story that focuses on Sebastian Castellanos’ crime unit partner, Juli Kidman (voiced by Jennifer Carpenter), who you get to play with throughout the first DLC.
According the game’s director, Kidman will give the player a different experience than Castellanos.
I would say she’s much livelier than Sebastian was in the main game, her story is a bit more personal than his as well, so there’s a bit of banter and commentary as you play.
There’s no exact word on the price or when exactly the DLC will be available, but through The Evil Within’s DLC pass you can buy all three expansions for $20. We’ll let you know on the individual price when Bethesda makes an official announcement.
