While the Fear Clinic DVD arrived at our office today (review coming soon), we’re here to give you two new clips from the nightmarish film starring Robert Englund.
In the player above, Englund’s Dr. Andover conducts a phobia experiment with a patient in his “fear chamber.” Let’s just say that things don’t go well. OK, things actually go so wrong that patients would be well-advised to swim with sharks rather than being a patient of Andover.
The next clip, below, shows a patient in a doctor’s office undergoing minor surgery to remove or drain a subcutaneous growth. And we’ll just say here that if you suffer from arachnophobia, you might want to skip this scene.
Fear Clinic – Spiders clip:
Fear Clinic comes to DVD/Blu-ray on February 10, 2015.
Fear Clinic Synopsis:
When trauma-induced phobias begin to re-emerge in five survivors a year after their horrifying tragedy, they return to the “Fear Clinic,” hoping to find the answers they need to get cured. Dr. Andover (Robert Englund), a fear doctor who runs the clinic, uses his “Fear Chamber” to animate their fears in the form of terrifying hallucinations. However, the good doctor soon begins to suspect that something more sinister may be at work, something that yearns to be more than just a hallucination.
