Wolfenstein: The New Order launched nearly a year ago, it’s about time Bethesda made a freagin’ sequel or prequel to it because the first next-gen entry was pretty epic! I’m sure players are dying to wield two weapons again, which was an evolution in the Wolfenstein series.
So, we got excellent news for you today! Bethesda announced Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, a standalone prequel to The New Order. In this prequel, you play again as series hero B.J. Blazkowicz and embark on a dangerous journey “deep within Bavaria.” Here you will be forced to fight a “maniacal prison warden” before B.J. breaks into Castle Wolfenstein to steal information on the location of General Deathhead’s facility.
Best of all, the shooter will launch on May 5, 2015, for $20 on all next-gen platforms, including Windows PC. You should check out the announcement trailer above for a first look at Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.
