Horror maven James Wan has his eye on a new horror project, which involves supernatural elements and is also based on a true story like his previous movie, The Conjuring. It’s called The Entity and horror hounds remember it as the ultimate story of supernatural terror! There is no escape from something you cannot see.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wan is producing the remake of the 1982 horror classic of the same name and a modern treatment is currently being developed by the creative team behind The Conjuring. So this means Chad and Carey Hayes are on board to pen the script for the remake. The horror duo previously worked together on The Conjuring, House of Wax, and The Reaping. At the moment, there’s still no word on who will direct The Entity remake, but I’m sure the studio will find someone quickly given the substantial talent pool for horror directors in Hollywood.
Roy Lee, another big name in the horror world is also attached to produce alongside Wan.
