Fans who had a chance to hit up the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con got treated to the very first trailer for Suicide Squad, an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics supervillain team of the same name. The film is intended to be the third installment in the DC Comics’ shared universe films.
Now, you can view the trailer right at home because it has made its way online today, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures. Suicide Squad was directed by David Ayer, and stars an ensemble cast featuring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis.
Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016.
