Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462

AMC isn’t stepping on the brakes for another addition to The Walking Dead companion series. The network just announced a new web series title Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462, which will begin immediately after the first season of Fear the Walking Dead concludes on Sunday, October 4th, 2015.

According to a press release, the very first installment of the 16-part web series will roll out on AMC.com and will then air as promos during new episodes of The Walking Dead, for the duration of season 6. Each subsequent episodes of Flight 462 will be less than one minute long with a purpose to bring one character over to the second season of Fear the Walking Dead.

Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV said,

We are thrilled to be collaborating with Dave Erickson and David Wiener on another piece of original content. Watching how they’ll bring one of these new characters to the second season of ‘Fear’ will be really exciting for viewers to follow.

Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 is produced by Fear the Walking Dead showrunner and executive producer Dave Erickson and co-executive producer David Wiener.


About Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462

The new web series tells the story of a group of passengers aboard a commercial airplane during the earliest moments of the outbreak. Over the course of the series, the plane and the lives of its passengers are put in jeopardy once they discover an infected traveler.
