Well, the rumors about a potential Guns N’ Roses reunion are seemingly true! That’s according to sources over at Billboard, which is stating that the Gunners are slated to headline Coachella this year. The annual festival is scheduled to take place in Indio, California, over the weekends of April 15th-17th and April 22nd-24th.
There are also reports that the band, featuring Axl Rose along with Slash and Duff McKagan, is negotiating a 25-date arena tour throughout North America in 2016. Things aren’t confirmed yet, but it’s being said that G’n’R will be among the first bands to play the new Las Vegas Arena, which opens on April 6th.
If you’re planning to check the real G’n’R off your bucket list, be ready to shell out some pretty hefty coin. Reports indicated that the band will be asking $3 million for each show, pushing ticket prices into the $250 to $275 ballpark.
Nothing has been revealed yet about former drummers Steven Adler and Matt Sorum or guitarists Izzy Stradlin or Gilby Clarke rejoining the band for the tour run, but we’ll keep you posted as this story develops.
