The Ghostface killer is officially back for another season of Scream on MTV, which will immediately pick up with “Emma’s return to Lakewood after several months at a retreat, where she tried to recover from the horrors of last season.” So that means the mystery behind the Lakewood murders is far from over and it sounds like it’s going to get even worse. MTV plans to further explore the horror series with brand new episode starting on Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
The premiere date was announced through the reveal of a poster for Season 2 via Facebook, which can be viewed right below. In addition, the network also shared the plot to tease Scream fans on what’s to come in two months from now. Season 2 will introduce brand new characters to invest in.
Michael Gans and Richard Register (Make It Or Break It, Celebrity Death Match) serve as EP’s and Showrunners along with EP’s Harvey and Bob Weinstein under the Dimension TV production umbrella.

Scream Season 2 Plot
