The long-awaited rivalry rematch between former UFC fighters Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley will have to be postponed further in Bellator MMA.
According to MMA Fighting, Koscheck has recently suffered an injury and won’t be fighting Daley at Bellator 158. However, Bellator just secured another opponent for Daley. The English mixed martial artist will now face former Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima instead. ESPN was the first to break the news this week.
For those who remember it well, the rivalry between Koscheck and Daley got heated at UFC 113 in 2010. During the welterweight clash, Koscheck kept running his mouth in the fight with Daley, who eventually took a swing at Koscheck after a bell ring. Daley was later cut from the UFC for poor sportsmanship and banned entirely from the promotion.
Lima will face Daley on July 16 in London.
