SyFy is known to produce high quality horror TV shows such as Z Nation and iZombie, so we are already looking forward to the entire Van Helsing series, which premiered on Friday with a special two-hour, double episode premiere. The series explores Bram Stoker’s legendary characters in a uniquely twisted vision. It’s going to truly kick ass!
Set in a near future where vampires have risen and taken control, VAN HELSING stars Kelly Overton (“True Blood”) as Vanessa Van Helsing, a descendant of the famed Van Helsing line. Vanessa’s unique blood composition allows her to turn vampires to human – a secret weapon that makes her humanity’s last hope.
