Casting for the upcoming Predator film is moving full steam ahead. Just a few weeks ago, we reported that Boyd Holbrook was in discussion to star in the Shane Black directed sequel, now, the young actor may be potentially accompanied by a female co-star.
According to THR, Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse, Deliver Us From Evil) is also currently negotiating a deal to co-star as a “scientist opposite Holbrook’s Special Forces commando.” The role isn’t confirmed yet, nor plot details, but appears like the film could have a suburban setting similar to Predator 2.
Lastly, there’s still speculation that Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his role as Dutch from 1987’s Predator. We expect to know much more when filming begins in February 2017.
The Predator will be directed by Black from a screenplay he co-wrote with Fred Dekker (Night of the Creeps, The Monster Squad). The film is slated for February 9th, 2018.
