Nate Diaz In The Process Of Applying For A Boxing License In Nevada

Nate Diaz

In 2016, Nate Diaz had an excellent run inside the Octagon and made a lot of money facing his UFC rival, Conor McGregor. This year Diaz might be aiming for much more as he is now in the process of applying for a boxing license in Nevada.

That’s right! According to MMAFighting.com, Bob Bennett, the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) executive director confirmed the news on Tuesday, which was first reported by ESPN.com. Apparently, Diaz has submitted footage of himself boxing in the ring and the NAC expects to approve his license in the very near future.

Diaz, 31, has a history of speaking about boxing with media outlets. One of his sparring partners is professional boxer Andre Ward, who is a two-weight world champion and is ranked as the second best boxer in the world, pound for pound, by The Ring magazine.
