With Rings coming out next Friday, Samara hits an electronic store to prank a few unlucky customers looking to buy a TV. Perhaps some folks want to catch up on the Ring franchise this weekend? Which sounds like a good plan to me.
Just at the right moment, Samara emerges from a TV screen like in the films to scare the shit out of a few shoppers. The prank was recently unleashed by Paramount Pictures to celebrate the upcoming release of Rings.
A new chapter in the beloved RING horror franchise. A young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before…
Directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez, Rings stars Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan. The horror film hits theaters on February 3rd, 2017.
