But since the press release said that Society 1 was a legendary industrial metal band, and further investigation, since I never heard of them, revealed that they had formed in 1999, I thought I’d at least check out something else from the band besides the latest single, “It’s Yours Now.”
So, I landed on “Hate,” from 2003’s album, Exit Through Fear, and it’s very different, and much better, than “It’s Yours Now” from Rise From the Dead, which will be released this March. I’m not sure what they’re trying to prove with this video and the song comes across more as something Alice In Chains left off an album than anything industrial.
