She’s back! Annabelle from The Conjuring universe is making a return in David F. Sandberg’s highly anticipated sequel. On April Fools’ Day Warner Bros. dropped the official trailer for Annabelle: Creation, which gives fans a quick look at the origin of the doll and some of its latest victims.
Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
Sandberg directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, who also wrote Annabelle. The film stars Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Coulthard, Grace Fulton, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee, Tayler Buck in her feature film debut, with Anthony LaPaglia and Miranda Otto.
Annabelle: Creation hits theaters on August 11, 2017.
