A few year ago we had the opportunity to interview horror legend Kane Hodder at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, who somewhat talked about his near-death burn accident, which turned him into the iconic stuntman he is today.
Now, Hodder will tell his full story from childhood to horror stuntman in an upcoming documentary entitled To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story featuring exclusive interviews with him and some of the people who surrounded Hodder throughout his living existence.
It’s the harrowing story of the stuntman overcoming a dehumanizing childhood filled with torment and bullying. After surviving a near-death burn accident he rose up through Hollywood’s horror ranks to become Jason in the FRIDAY THE 13th series making countless movie goers forever terrified of hockey masks and summer camp. After decades of watching Kane Hodder on screen here’s the uniquely human story about one of the genre’s most vicious monsters.
Ahead of its world premiere at FrightFest 2017, horror hounds can get a glimpse at the documentrary in the first official trailer. Hodder is known for countless appearances in gory films, including playing the most amount of time Jason Voorhees in the beloved Friday the 13th series.
To Hell and Back: The Kane Hodder Story hits the big screen on August 26th.
