Swedish black metal masters, Dark Funeral, have announced their return to North America for the first time in five years. The band will be co-headlining this run with Septic Flesh and are set to make their first appearance at The Regent in Los Angeles, California, on February 22nd. Performing along with them through March 20th will be Thy Antichrist.
Despite recently parting ways with drummer, Nils “Dominator” Fjellstroem, Dark Funeral have much to celebrate. In addition to supporting their latest album, Where Shadows Forever Reign, 2018 marks the band’s 25-year anniversary and the 20-year anniversary of their second full-length album, Vobiscum Satanas.
See the list of tour dates below.
When asked about going on tour, Lord Ahriman said:
It’s been five years since we last toured North America. A lot of things have happened since then, but most importantly, we have released a new and absolutely killer album entitled, Where Shadows Forever Reign, through Century Media/Sony! Along with our friends in Septic Flesh and Thy Antichrist, it’s going to be nothing but EPIC to bring this co-headlining tour along with our friends in Septic Flesh and Thy Antichrist. Be there!!!
