Earlier this week, Amazon Studios revealed the very first clip from the new reimagining of Dario Argento’s horror masterpiece, Susperia. Apparently, the footage was so gruesome that it made audiences want to vomit. Some even went as far to say it was the most “fucked up” thing they have ever seen after the clip was shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Amazon just world premiered a scene from Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Suspiria’ remake and it’s one of the most fucked up things I’ve ever seen at #CinemaCon. People at my table turned away from the screen. All I can say is it’s beyond extreme and gross and I need to see more.
Following the overwhelmingly well-received scene from the new Suspiria movie, the studio now unveiled the first teaser poster for the reimagining of Argento’s beloved 1977 horror film. The poster itself isn’t all that interesting compared to the original since it’s really simple and bare. So we hope the soon-to-be-shown trailer will make up for the lack of creativity here.
The new film is directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me by Your Name), with Radiohead’s Thom Yorke composing the soundtrack. Suspiria stars Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Mia Goth, and the original film’s lead actress, Jessica Harper.
