by Directed by Jason DeVan comes the supernatural/religious horror, Along Came the Devil, on August 10th. Watch the trailer and you’ll probably think that this looks pretty good, and it does, but if you’re like me, when you say the movie’s title you might want to say the album title, Along Came a Spider, from Alice Cooper.
The movie was also written by Jason DeVan, as well as Heather DeVan and Dylan Matlock.
Along Came the Devil Synopsis:
Ashley (Sydney Sweeney, The Handmaid’s Tale) is sent to live with her estranged Aunt Tanya (Jessica Barth, Ted 2). While in her old hometown she has visions of her deceased mom, driving her to contact the spirit world. Ashley unknowingly unearths a demonic force, which leaves her loved ones fighting for her soul.
The film also stars Matt Dallas (Painted Woman), Bruce Davison (Insidious: The Last Key), Madison Lintz (Bosch), and Heather DeVan.
