Fantasia finally kicked-off on Thursday, which means there’s going to be plenty of films to check out until August 1st in Montreal. That’s right! Fantasia is geared to show over 130 genre film, so there’s absolutely no shortage of eye candy this summer.
However, if you are just a casual movie goer without any big expectations, then you might want to check The Wretched this week. A brand new horror film featuring a thousand year-old witch with very bad intention.
The film tells the story of a teenager who realizes that he’s living next door to an ageless, undying horror that threatens all he holds dear.
Written and directed by Brett Pierce and Drew T. Pierce, The Wretched stars John-Paul Howard (Hell or High Water), Piper Curda (I Didn’t Do It), Azie Tesfai (Supergirl), and Kevin Bigley (Netflix’s Upload).
