Conor McGregor Hints At Comeback On Anniversary Of Nate Diaz Rematch

Conor McGregor is one of the most popular MMA fighters around the world, “The Notorious One” is famous for his attitude and fighting abilities, Conor has not competed in the UFC for some time and is enjoying his retired life.

Conor has been retired before, so fans have been speculating that even this time McGregor’s retirement will not be permanent and that he will return to action once again.

Conor has had some great fights in his career, his fight with Mayweather was the biggest fighting spectacle of the decade and his rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov is also legendary.

Conor has had some great feuds, but his fights with Nate Diaz are probably the best of his career. Conor and Nate first locked horns at UFC 196, the fight result was a shock to many as Nate ended up defeating the then-undefeated Conor McGregor in the second round of the fight.

The two went head to head again and Conor got his redemption at UFC 202 when he put on one of the best performances of his career and defeated Diaz after a stunning five rounds of fighting.

Conor and Nate currently stand at 1-1, and everyone has speculated that the final trilogy fight is bound to happen at some time. It’s been 4 years since Conor and Nate last fought, but even now fans are still hoping to see a third and final fight between them and see how the rivalry concludes.

Now after seeing Conor McGregor’s latest post, fans have again built up their hopes and are awaiting for a third fight between the pair.

Conor posted a picture of him waiting backstage before his big second fight against Nate Diaz at UFC 202. This picture gained instant popularity and many UFC fans started predicting a fight between Nate and Conor.

Although Conor McGregor had announced his retirement from the UFC earlier this year, people are confident that The Notorious One will return for at least one fight.

If Conor does return for any fight, it would be great if he does return against Nate Diaz and they can finally settle the scores of their legendary rivalry.

As of now the fight seems like a distant possibility as Dana White has said that Conor will not compete in the UFC this year and Nate Diaz himself hasn’t competed in the UFC since he faced Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244.

Whether or not the two fighters come back together to compete is unknown, but fans would certainly love to watch these two fighters compete once more and settle their score once and for all.
