Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier is official on! The two champions will face each other in a highly-anticipated heavyweight fight, which is now booked for July.
Following Miocic’s dominant win over Francis Ngannou, Cormier showed interest stepping up a weight class to fight Miocic for his crown. Both fighters agreed to clash in the 240-pound division for a genuine superfight on July 7th. In January, Cormier defeated Volkan Oezdemir via TKO at UFC 220, which earned him a shot at Miocic.
The UFC 226 co-main event features another exciting fight between UFC featherweight king Max Holloway and the undefeated Brian Ortega. Lastly, the card also includes notable names such as Francis Ngannou, Derrick Lewis, Raphael Assuncao, Gokhan Saki, Uriah Hall, and Anthony Pettis.
