In the end, Dog the Bounty Hunter won’t be collecting a 10k reward for the capture of War Machine, formerly known as Jonathan Koppenahver. Or better known as the man who viciously assaulted his ex-girlfriend/pornstar Christy Mack and her male friend Corey Thomas on Friday, August 8.
Less than a week later, War Machine is finally held in Ventura County Jail without bail.
Yesterday afternoon, the manhunt for War Machine came to a halt after the Simi Valley Police Department zeroed in on the women beater “inside of a Extended Stay America Hotel in Simi Valley” and booked him into jail at the request of the United States Marshal’s Service, according to MMA Fighting.
The Simi Valley Police Department released the following statement on the arrest:
Inside the room was a small quantity of cash and some pizza. The United States Marshal’s Service turned Mr. Koppenhaver over to the Simi Valley Police Department for booking on his warrant from Nevada. He was transported to the Ventura County Jail.
War Machine faces seven charges that include battery with substantial bodily harm, battery by strangulation, two counts of battery resulting in substantial bodily harm constituting in domestic violence, open or gross lewdness, assault with a deadly weapon, and coercion with the threat of force.
He has also been officially released from the Bellator MMA banner.
