It appears like Conor McGregor isn’t too happy with some of Floyd Mayweather’s recent comments about fans comparing the two fighters.
In fact, the two of them have been going back and forth since McGregor successfully defeated Eddie Alvarez on Saturday night at UFC 205 for the lightweight title. Earlier this week, Mayweather called him an “ant” and McGregor dared him to “say that to my face.” So there’s definitely a bit of tension happening right now between the two popular fighters.
On Tuesday night at 1 OAK in New York City, the Irish sensation took over the DJ booth, hijacked the mic and called out the boxer for everyone to see.
Floyd’s not ready for this. Much respect to Floyd. He’s a solid businessman. What he’s been able to do, he’s a f*cking animal at what he’s been able to do. [But] as far as real fighting – true, pure unarmed combat – Floyd don’t want none of this. He does not want none of this. He wants it under boxing rules. He wants a boxing match. He doesn’t want a fight.
McGregor is ready to settle their differences for $100 million inside the unified rules of boxing.
Give Floyd a shout; tell him I’m coming. Tell him to run around Showtime offices. I want $100 million to fight him under boxing rules because he’s afraid of a real fight.
Mayweather has not responded yet, but I’m sure a video will surfaces very soon. Stay tuned to Yell! Magazine for the update.
