by Brazil’s Rising State is definitely a band to keep your eyes on, and to start that mission off, check out the band’s debut single, “Portrait of a Despot,” here on Yell! Magazine. From the bass to the riffs to the drums to the gravely vocals, Rising State have a huge pocket of groove and I think you’ll love it.
Rising State is captained by bassist Luiz Mário Moraes along with well-known compatriots Cassio Canto of In Torment on drums, Leo Nunes of Scelerata/Luis Kalil on guitar, and vocalist Robson Lacerda. The track was produced with Hibria guitarist Renato Osorio.
