Intoxicated Rage Sound Like Drunken Pirates On “Kill The King”

Boston’s Intoxicated Rage are one of the bands to watch on the New England heavy metal scene. Influenced by Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Motorhead, and Black Sabbath, vocalist and guitarist Giuseppe Mellone announces in a statement of intent these heavy hitters are “here to kick your ass.”

Unleashing their 2016 EP Patient Zero Boston, Intoxicated Rage has 2017 locked and loaded with the upcoming release of their first full-length album, Kill the King, which features roots in traditional metal and thrash metal.

The band is now streaming the first single, the album’s title track, which you can catch right here on Yell! Magazine.

Mellone comments on the release:

We just wanted something that could get the message across of who we are. We are doing that in this album and we will do it again on the next. Currently, we are working on different material that almost breaks through these classifications. We want people to hear us on the radio and automatically identify us from our sound.

Intoxicated Rage’s Kill the King will be available on all major online retailers at a date to be determined in 2017.
