In a little over two weeks from today, Anderson Silva, the former and longest-reigning UFC middleweight champion will be stepping back inside the cage for the first time since his second loss to Chris Weidman at UFC 168. As many of you already know, Silva suffered a serious leg injury in that fight and could have ended his MMA career. Silva managed to fully recover after months of rehab and requested to face the Stockton bad boy, Nick Diaz, in a middleweight bout in 2015.
Silva’s training for UFC 183 has been lightly documented online over the past few months, and a new clip has just surfaced of him showing what he does best — knocking people out! Silva KOs his sparring partner in training with a devastating flying left knee and punches on the ground for good measure.
Does Diaz even have a chance on January 31st?
